My mentor Roxanne owns and runs the Utah Valley Expos. She pays us to help out at the expos. This last weekend was the UV Home Expo. Saturday night after we cleaned everything, Roxanne took the employees (and Shalyn and me) to Carrabba's. Yummy! I had the Pollo Rosa Maria, which was delicious! Anyway, Monday morning I woke up and got ready for school. I was getting my stuff together and I couldn't find my wallet anywhere. The last time I remembered having it was Saturday night, and after searching everywhere in the apartment, I decided I would just call them and see if they had found it. About 3 people and 10 minutes later, some guy finally told me they had found it. What a relief! I had just gotten paid and had a lot of money in there, not to mention the hassle it would have been to cancel my cards and everything. When I went in to pick it up, the manager came out and handed me my wallet, saying everythin
g should be in it. Then he handed me a huge piece of chocolate cake in a takeout container. He said I sounded like I was having a bad day and so he wanted me to have it. Not only do they have delicious food, but incredible service as well.
Not actually the cake from Carrabba's, but you get the idea!
Speaking of Carrabba's, I am moving out at the end of this month and so it is everyone's last chance to come see me and my apartment and take me out to dinner!
